Hey Joe, Do you know what happened to the Scott Valley Pilots Association Weather Link Page? I like to see the actual weather in the valley and always checked that page because it had real data from Scott Valley. About two weeks ago the link dissapeared!

No, I sure don't.
Maybe some of the current pilots here will read this and let us know.
I'll see if I can find out anything too and report back.

Hi, Check with Kevin Martin in Etna for into about the airport wx page. He's the one who keeps it up and running. An owl sat on the wind sensor so the wind direction may be fibbing.

Nice east facing photo today (12/19/10 at 1:05:59 PM). The snow level comes right down the hill to just above the valley floor. It gives a hint of the snow piling up in the mountains, refreshing the area for great camping and hiking next summer.
Here's a National Weather Service page showing the modeled snow depth for up in Marble Valley.
http://www.nohrsc.nws.gov/interactive/html/graph.html?units=0&station=MGVC1&x=-123.198056&y=41.566944
It looks like about two feet of moderately heavy wet snow at 6000'.
