Today one of our local veterans was laid to rest here in Scott Valley, California.
Edward "Buddy" Woodson Buchner.

He was one of the few survivors of the Bataan Death March in 1942.

There was a military jet fly by today in honor of "Buddy" over Etna, California and the entire Scott Valley area. The military jet was quite an impressive site. It was also quite humbling to say the least.

Farewell "Buddy" and to all the rest of the veterans who so valiantly fought for our country.
